FLEET AVAILABILITY

The Company reserves the right to provide a different car model to that originally reserved of an equivalent or higher model type.

The vehicle displayed and models listed are the most common vehicles used by our car rental company. We cannot guarantee the make or model of the rental vehicle will be the same as the vehicle displayed on our website.

REQUIREMENTS FOR RENTER

For groups A,B,C driver must be over 21 years of age. For any other vehicle group, minimum age for the driver must be 25 years old.

The driver should hold a valid license issued during the previous year minimum.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PICK UP

The Voucher or e-Voucher, valid driver’s driving license, a valid ID (passport or ID card).

PAYMENT METHOD

All Debit/Credit card or cash are accepted as forms of payment of the rental at the pick-up.

GRACE PERIOD

At the end of the agreed rental period, “Zante Rent a Car” allows a grace period of 30 minutes free of charge after which, the renter will be charged with a minimum of one full day rental.

O.W.H. Out of office hours delivery and collection (21:00 – 07:30)
Additional extras requested at time of booking or purchased locally (for example child seats)
Traffic and parking fines, toll fees

INSURANCE

Collision Damage Waiver insurance (C.D.W) is included in the price in case of an accident. It is valid only under the condition that the Greek Traffic Code has not been violated e.g. passing a red traffic light or stop sign.

Insurance does not cover:

• The undercarriage of the car
• The tires (including the spare tire) and the wheels of the vehicle
• The vehicle’s interior
• The glass windows
• Lost or broken car keys
• Damaged, lost or heavy soiled child seats
• Any damage or soiling to the interior of the car (incl. Multi media system, USB)

The insurance does not cover damages caused by:

• Negligence
• Driving off the recognized and asphalted road network (off-road)
• During loading, unloading, or carriage of the vehicle on ships or trains or other means of transport without the prior written consent of the Lessor
• Misfuelling

All authorized renters of Zante Rent a Car vehicles are covered against damages from fire, theft and liability to third parties for death, injury or damage to property. Theft Protection covers only the car and not the personal belongings of the renter and the passengers.

In case of an accident, any damage to the car, technical problem or any other incident (fire, theft etc.) renter must immediately contact Zante Rent a Car (phone +30 697888361(24h) or +30 26950 44004). Any damages or technical incidents happened to the car that are not reported during the rental period but at the end of the rental period / drop off are not covered by the insurance.

FUEL POLICY

The fuel tank will be full or part-full when you pick your car up. You return the car with the same amount of fuel that you picked it up with.

TRAFFIC CODE VIOLATIONS

The renter is solely responsible for any parking and/or traffic violations incurred during their rental period. All customers should pay their traffic violations fine immediately to avoid additional fees. If a parking citation and/or traffic violation is received by our office, the customer is responsible for the citation amount plus an administrative fee.

FERRY RESTRICTIONS

Only allowed with the company’s written authorization. Please note that any damage to the vehicle in transit will be not covered by any insurance.
